I'm Back Bitches!

To all of you who are still reading The Meshugenuh, I am truly happy to be back. I have taken some time off to watch my MLB Package and to list 1000's of trading cards on Ebay. I first want to give a shout out to Lee "The Man", who has the best cards and chix salad on the planet. I will next give mad props to the Detroit Tigers who are in 1st Place in the MLB. I will write as often as possible and will try to keep all of you up to date with all the things happening in sports.

I have been keeping busy trying to beat the streak at: MLB.com

I also found a website that clearly has the best case and box prices for trading cards on the Internet: Dave and Adam's Card World

I thought the Brawl at the Palace was bad untill I saw this: Kick Boxer

And finally, I will leave you with this clip:

Be careful

George Mason?

The real George Mason is still alive and a 250-1 underdog to win the NCAA Tourney, the other two are dead.

What the F-BOMB happened! This year's March Madness has been a little strange, to say the least. As many of you know, George Mason plays in the Colonial Conference and somehow made it all the way to this year's Final Four. You begin to realize that the smaller conferences may not be as bad as you thought. The thing that gets me going, is the fact that Hofstra beat George Mason not once, but twice this year. Does that mean that Hofstra could have beat the Spartans? Does it mean they could have beat U-Conn? Could Hofstra be the NCAA Champs this year? I don't know, but I will sure find out after I play a head to head matchup on Playstation 2!

Here is Hofstra's team page and notice how many points they beat George Mason by both times:

Hofstra Pride

Take a look for your self at George Mason's schedule this year:

George Mason Patriots

Anyway, good luck to George Mason and bring back a victory for the small people of the Sports World!

But truthfully, here is the chance that a team like George Mason could really win The Big Dance:

Get Down With The Sickness!!!

The Sickness is Ebay. If you were to interview the Meshuganugget, she would tell you that her boyfriend is always on EBay. This site is a sickness, in 30 years from now, people will be diagnosed with EBay syndrome and prescribed a special pill that will be sold on this very sick site. I am obsessed with buying, listing, selling, and exploring every nook and cranny of this crazy cyber-space pawn shop fun house. If you have never explored this site, DON'T! You will soon discover you have the syndrome and you will become obsessed! Take a look for your self at my auctions I have currently been listing:

nugget2412

Check this shiznit out once in a while and if you win one of my auctions, send a message on EBay that you read the MESHUGENUH, and I will give you $1 off shipping!

I also wanted to include an easy way to find the area where you can find what your friends are selling. Simply, ask your friend their EBay ID and type it in the link below:

Search: Items By Seller

You may also check out my favorite searches for my 2 favorite NHL players below:

Sidney Crosby

Alexander Ovechkin

Pick up the new Hockey Beckett with Henrik Lundqvist on the cover and discover how much money you can make by investing in 2005-2006 NHL cards.

Good Luck Bidding and Selling and comment on any story you may have about a good or bad EBay experience.

I will leave you with a sick new member of the Meshugenuh family:

The Team of the Rising Sun wins World Baseball Classic

For those of you who actually care, Japan won the World Baseball Classic over Cuba 10-6 on Monday night. I believe the Japanese team truly deserved to win and that the United States team could care less. Why do they have this stupid tournament anyway? Does anyone realize how many of the players would rather be at spring training with their real teams? I happened to be one of the true baseball dorks who actually watched these pathetic games and I was pissed. I thought the Dominican or Cuban team were the best by far. Cuba really impressed me because I have never even heard of one single player. I also think that MLB owners should start placing things in their players contract clauses such as: I A-ROD will not participate in the World Baseball Classic and will report straight to spring training with the Yankees. Why should these ridiculously high paid athletes play in the Olympics and other world events when they could get injured and lose their ridicously high paying jobs? Tell me what u think!

Something to make you laugh besides the United States Baseball team.

March Madness

Wow, it has been 10 days since I last posted on my blog. And if I were you, I probably would be pretty ticked off with the Meshugenuh. This is your chance to hate and write your comments below this post. Talk smack, talk shit, send threats, player hate, be crude, be rude, please just (F-BOMBING) write something, so I can get a better understanding of how I can improve my sports blog. Unlike other bloggers out there, I have a life and I do this for the decent folks of this world and lately I feel that not many people really care about what the Meshugenuh thinks!

Ok enough hate, I will now discuss the NCAA tournament. Here is the up to the minute bracket for all of you out there that were too drunk to watch the games yesterday:

Bracket

Who is going to win it all? I believe Duke is by far the best team in the nation and like I always say, "sell the house, sell the car, and bet on Duke". Tell me what you think. Below I will also give all those true Alcoholics a recap of all the games yesterday:

Recaps for the Drunk Skunks

Till I write next, stay real, don't drink and drive, and remember to smell your children!

Guess who's back?

Well, I haven't written in a long time and this time I'm not making any excuses. What I will do is keep everyone up to date with what is happening in the Baseball world as of March 9th. I will begin by talking about the 2006 World Baseball Classic. I recently watched the U.S. team lose to our neighbors to the North (Oh Canada) and it sucked to see A-Rod get on base only to have Mark Teixeira ground out to first to lose 8-6! It gets worse, check out our roster, then check out Canada's roster:

Team USA

Team Canada

Are you F---ing kidding me! I am one of the biggest baseball freaks on the face of the earth and Ive only heard of a total of 9 players on the Canadian team compared to everyone on the U.S. team. Check out the official website below and keep track of your favorite country to win the World games:

Official site of The World Baseball Classics

Detroit Tigers pitching star, Fernando Rodney and the Dominican team will win the whole shebang-I guarantee it! If you can afford to wager a bet on this prediction, then sell your house and put it all on D.R. to win The World Classic.
Here is the Dominican roster:

The Dominican Team

Finally, I will let you listen if you haven't done so already about the trouble with "The Big Herc", below is the interview with the Chicago Media:

Frank "The Freak" Thomas Saga

I will start writing more often and will be interested in hearing about who everyone likes to win "The Big Dance" this year.
It's March Madness baby!
