NBA Picks

I'm sitting here on my computer today typing away and trying to watch the UCLA-Michigan NCAA basketball game. As I type, the score reads UCLA-57, UofM -44. The actual line for the game is U of M -8. This brings me to the content of my post today. If you have ever bet on basketball you understand that most games are decided by last minute free-throws, or big runs in the last crucial minutes of a game. The reason I don't gamble myself is because I have been killed by missed free throws and last second half court three's to ruin my point spread.

Even with that said, I still will give you my locks of the day:

Houston Rockets
at
Los Angeles Clippers- I like the Clippers to win by 3 and a hook.

Detroit Pistons- I like the Pistons to cover 7 and a hook!
at
Charlotte Bobcats

Miami Heat- I like Miami getting 1 and a hook.
at
Cleveland Cavaliers

Sacramento Kings
at
San Antonio Spurs-I like SA by 8 and a hook

Boston Celtics
at - I like the over in this game, over 198
Chicago Bulls

I want to acknowledge The Muffin Man and his brother The Power Attorney for shoveling the snow from their parents driveway before they come back from the Caribbean-what a mitzvah!

Meshugenuh Clips

We begin tonight by exploring the world of weird and bizarre events in sports and in general. The following links were found by "Chef Girlfriend" and I thank him very much for enlightening me on strange human behaviors...

I would also like to speak about the so called "Viking Love Vessel" which has been all over ESPN today. These are the official documents for the players who are facing fines and jail time. I think that incident gave the NFL a bad image and Culpepper should either go to Arizona to play for his old coach or go directly to jail and play for the warden like in The Longest Yard. I will keep this post short tonight, but I would like to thank "Island Girl Willie" for being the first blogger to comment on anything on my site.
Thank You, see you tomorrow.

Thoughts for December 16th

I'm back, last night absolutely sucked. Try flying through a MI snowstorm, I felt like I was on a frozen episode of Lost. Anyways, I made it back safe from Denver and now I have some stories to examine.

First off, I will start off by talking about Ron Artest! This beast of a man was involved in one of the world's worst displays of unruly animalistic behavior. The Piston-Pacer brawl was seen by NBA fans all over the country and gave the city of Detroit, I mean Auburn Hills a bad rap. Now this fool is speaking out about wanting to be traded to the New York Knicks. I thought about Artest's trade request that will cost him $25,000 by the NBA and realized that he would be coached by this man... Artest could be a Knickerbocker as early as next week. Hypothetically, Larry Brown could be coaching the player that single handedly caused the "Malice at the Palace"

Speaking of the Pistons, check out Big Ben and his sexy specs. Shouldn't there be rules about this in the NBA dress code policy?

Finally, you've got to see this! For all of you College football fans, there is a reason why Reggie Bush is the Heisman Trophy winner. His moves were sick back in high school and thanks to the Muffin Man and the New York Times we can all witness his greatness.

Lastly, if anyone is in the playoff's for their Fantasy Football league, email me any questions and/or your potential starting lineups for this week. Also, feel free to post any comments by clicking the comment button and yes Island Girl Willie, you have to fill in your email address.

One last post before I leave for Denver.

Hi guys,
I will introduce three of my favorite characters that happen to be my friends in this post. The first is The Muffin Man, he is a sports God and will be a great asset to my site. The second is "The Island Girl Willie", who loves his Tigers and Lions with all his heart. And Finally "The Girlfriend", who is one of the world's greatest chef's and boy does he make a mean pot of chili! I will design caricatures for each of this shady fellows next week.

For those of you that are confused about my Sports Picks, I will make it more clear next time I write a post on this subject. I will tell you who is at home and if I write ( DET -4) next to my pick it will mean that I believe DET should win the game by 4 points or more!

I am almost late for my flight, so I really have to go!
